Internships

Internships are one of the most important parts of Two Rivers.  Students participate in internships and internship activities on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.  Our internship coordinator and advisors assist students in finding internships, but the actual work of arranging informational interviews, shadow days and the internship itself is done by our students.  Once an internship has started, the student, advisor and work-site mentor work together to develop a project that helps meet the competencies that we require for graduation.  We do not provide transportation to or from internship sites, so students normally walk, bike, take a bus or have a parent transport them to their sites.  We have partnered with over 100 area businesses over the past three years.
